Blending Acrylic Paint: 3 Steps to Mastering the Skill

Blending acrylic paint is a great way to add depth to your paintings. You can create seamless transitions between colors and make certain areas stand out more than others. But how do you get started?

Here are 3 easy tips on blending acrylic paint:

1. Use a large brush for large areas and small brushes for small spaces like corners or edges where two colors meet up with each other at their edges; this will create seamless transitions between colors without any harsh lines running through them like a knife would cut through butter!

2. Start by applying one color over another in long strokes, rather than short ones. This will help you build up layers of color without making it look like you’re just spreading around the same amount of paint everywhere on your canvas or paper surface.

3. Work from light to dark, starting with the lighter color in the area where you want your transition to be seamless, then moving on to darker shades as needed until you achieve the look that you want!

4. Work fast!
